Hyderabad: Software Employee, 22, Dies by Suicide at Home in Meerpet
A 22-year-old software employee from Meerpet died by suicide at home. A note was found, expressing apologies and personal concerns. Investigation underway.

Meerpet police reported the death of a 22-year-old software employee, M. Nikhita, who died by suicide at her residence in Almasguda on Wednesday. Authorities stated that the incident occurred while her parents were away from home.
Nikhita lived with her family, including her parents, siblings, and her niece and nephew. According to the police, her parents had stepped out for work, leaving the young children at home. During this time, Nikhita reportedly locked herself in her room and ended her life by hanging using a saree.
Meerpet Sub-Inspector G. Srinivas Reddy confirmed the details, stating that the door was latched from the inside. A handwritten note, believed to be written by Nikhita, was discovered at the scene.
The note expressed apologies to her family and friends. In it, Nikhita mentioned a lack of interest in life and addressed someone named Sai, urging them to live a happy life. She also requested that her family ensure her belongings, including her laptop and other items, be returned to her workplace.
The police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the matter.
